What did the observation change?
An observation only helps if it can change the next question.
Reopen one dated note
Choose a real page from the project folder, if you have one. Read the question it was meant to answer and the conditions you recorded. A review can start with a single observation. If no page exists yet, name an unanswered question and leave the result blank. There is no need to pretend a trial has happened.
Name what changed
Did the note change your understanding of the location, shared use, or next source to consult? Separate a direct observation from the meaning you assigned to it. An incomplete note can still reveal what you missed. Write that gap clearly so the next investigation has a purpose.
Choose a proportionate next step
You can keep the idea, simplify it, pause it, or investigate a missing answer. Do not turn one observation into a universal rule about crops, seasons, or productivity. The next step should fit the evidence and the people involved. An unanswered question can be a useful result of planning.
Share without overstating
If you want to comment, share the question or a general lesson rather than a private address, schedule, or family disagreement. This recap invites actual observations; it does not report audience results or completed gardens. Keep the record honest enough that it can guide the next decision.
Bring this checklist
- Review an actual note or name a question.
- Separate observation from assumption.
- Choose one next investigation.
- Keep private details out of comments.
Optional planning supplies
Start with paper, a pencil, and anything you already own. A notebook or binder can help keep observations, source links, and household project questions together.
