Review the process before claiming a result
Before calling the month a success, check what your notes actually support.
Read the actual record
Open one dated note, if you have one. Identify what was recorded directly and which conditions were left unobserved. Keep the date and source beside the entry. If you have not begun a project, write a first research question instead of creating an imaginary result to close the month.
Separate three categories
Use headings for recorded observations, incomplete records, and unanswered questions. A partial note can reveal a useful gap, but it should remain partial. An interpretation belongs beside the observation rather than replacing it. Do not treat a planning page as proof of a harvest, savings, or a successful household routine.
Write one supported conclusion
Choose a sentence the record can actually support and include its limits. It may concern a clearer question, a missing source, or a decision to simplify an unstarted proposal. Avoid turning one experience into a universal rule. This review is a planning aid, not a performance report or a claim about audience results.
Keep the next question visible
Carry one unanswered question into the next brief. Keep the source and date accessible so a later revision can show what changed. Share a general lesson if you comment, while leaving private household details out. The goal is an honest starting point for the next investigation.
Bring this checklist

- Keep source, date and scope.
- Write one supported conclusion.
- Carry one question forward.
Optional planning supplies
Start with paper, a pencil, and anything you already own. A notebook or binder can help keep observations, source links, and household project questions together.
