Can the household find what a property photo shows?
A property photo can show a storage building without showing how everyday use would work.
Start with the proposed activity
Write what the household imagines using the building for and what evidence would be needed to investigate that idea. This original educational Shortlist features no parcel, listing photo, or recommendation. A building shown in a photo can prompt questions without settling them.
Sketch a question about the route
Draw simple boxes for storage and work area, with an arrow between them. Label shared-use and access questions. The sketch has no dimensions or approvals and does not assess safety, permitted use, structural capacity, or item storage requirements.
Keep claims and evidence separate
Record listing language, supporting records, and unresolved questions in different columns. Add the source and date. Ask the appropriate source about the specific proposed use rather than stretching one answer across every question. Keep private records and contact details out of the public worksheet.
Retain the permission gate
Any later real-property feature requires current facts and written photo permission for the intended use. A listing link does not clear media rights. Until that work is reviewed, use original educational graphics and avoid implying that a parcel or building has been assessed.
Bring this checklist
- Name the item or question.
- Separate ownership, permission and suitability.
- Keep relevant source/date and unresolved questions.
- Ask for agreement before changing a shared arrangement.
Optional planning supplies
Start with paper, a pencil, and anything you already own. A notebook or binder can help keep observations, source links, and household project questions together.
